Welcome to Hand Maiden Fine Yarn, the Fleece Artist label for luxury hand-dyed fibres.

We are pleased to introduce Bess, our new merino/cashmere blend to our line of fibres. Perfect for shawls, intimates and baby clothes this soft yarn is machine washable. But unlike most superwash yarns, this merino has been treated using a brand new BEST eco-friendly non-chlorinated process. We’re delighted to offer this fabulous wool combined with the soft luxury of cashmere as a beautiful alternative to traditionally treated machine washable yarns.

As always, all of our yarns are dyed to order in tiny batches making each skein one-of-a-kind. Inspired by the environment around us we dye many variegated colourways along with our Subtle Series of slightly variegated shades. We hope you find something to tickle your fancy and delight your senses.
