Winter – Weather Wrap – Eden

This is the first of the quarterly kits from the 4 Seasons of Hand Maiden. Whether is a dark winter day, sleet, snow, freezing rain, a clear cold winters day, or when you see a little sign of spring, this 3 month Winter Weather project will help you get through the deepest of winter.

Each kit comes with 4 x 120g + 5 x 50g Hand Maiden Eden (80% SW Merino, 10% Cashmere, 10% Nylon) that represents the weather of the day (WOD) using the chart included with your kit.

You will also receive 1 x 50g skein of Hand Maiden Mulberry Tussah (50% Mulberry Silk, 50% Tussah Silk), this luxurious, sparkly yarn represents special occasions.

Going south? No problem we have also dyed up some Echo Beach 50g in our Eden as an add on.

The Winter Weather Wrap is worked with a stranded technique that produces a “double garter stitch” fabric. Like double knitting, both sides of the wrap are “right” sides. It’s thick, warm, and luxuriously soft. This one size wrap is 70″ x 15″ and is reminiscent of a snuggly blanket you can wear.
