Important Functional and Thematic Notes
1. The scale of the projects should be small with a maximum of 4 hanks of yarn.
2. The project must celebrate Nova Scotia
3. We have a long list of Nova Scotia Themed colourways available for use should they be appropriate for your project:

Submissions should have the following information:
- Your name
- Your relationship with Nova Scotia
- Your ideas and inspiration for your project along with any images. If your inspiration is along cultural lines, please let us know your relationship with your source (like “inspired by my Acadian Grandmother’s quilts” for example)
- Sketch of the project and/or picture of project if completed. Images of your swatches are great, especially if there is texture work as well as colour.
- Gauge and suggested Hand Maiden and/or Fleece Artist yarn(s).
- Suggested colourways. It is not required to use NS inspired colourways, but as our home we do have many of them.
- A image of something you’ve completed in the past (a different project)
- Your social media details (Instagram, Ravelry etc)
Deadlines + Timelines
Submission Deadline: 15 October 2021 – 9pm GMT. Selected projects will require patterns ready for sample knitting by December 15.
